    Brief

    The Council is seeking a supplier to provide comprehensive end-to-end assessments and reviews under the Deprivation of Liberties Service and Court of Protection. The service includes Age Assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments, Best Interests Assessments, and No Refusals Assessments, along with Care Act 2014 assessments, care and support planning, and planned/unplanned reviews of care arrangements. The supplier must also provide Carers' assessments when identified. Updated procurement documents are available on the Council's e-tendering portal (Proactis), including the ITT Procurement Pack, Legal Terms and Conditions, Service Specification, and Pricing Return. Material clarifications have been incorporated into the procurement process. The submission deadline is 12 noon on 17 July 2026.
