Worcestershire Speech and Language Support Programme

This is a direct award opportunity to strengthen speech, language and communication support across Worcestershire through a whole-system approach. The project will update and relaunch the county's Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) balanced system pathway, providing parents, carers and children's workforce with clear, accessible information and written resources. The programme includes delivery of free online webinars to support children's speech, language and communication development and to help families understand when and where to access support services. Enhanced public health communications will be implemented to maximise reach and consistency across the sector. Funding is provided through the Best Start Family Hubs initiative and is suitable for organisations with expertise in speech and language services, parent engagement, digital communications and whole-system coordination in children's health and wellbeing.
