South Yorkshire Children Who Use Harm Support Programme

South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority is seeking a service provider to deliver a Children Who Use Harm (CWUH) programme across South Yorkshire. The service will support children and young people aged 10-17 who display harmful behaviours towards family members, along with their parents, carers and siblings. The programme will provide trauma-informed, whole-family interventions including assessment, risk management, therapeutic support, behaviour change work, safeguarding and multi-agency coordination. Services will be delivered through community venues, Family Hubs, schools and online support, with approaches tailored to developmental stage and individual needs. The service must embed safeguarding and victim safety throughout while supporting vulnerable children, using evidence-based techniques such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioural therapy and restorative practice. Funding from the Home Office is anticipated to be available until 31 March 2029, with additional funding subject to confirmation from 1 April 2029. Due to the compressed procurement timetable required to mobilise services by 31 December 2026, interested organisations should begin reviewing requirements in advance.
