Information and Advice Service for Adult Wellbeing and Independence

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council is seeking a provider to deliver an Information and Advice Service that helps residents find and access services, support groups, and community resources to maintain independence and wellbeing. The service will operate as a universal, accessible offer across multiple channels (phone, digital, and in-person hub), reducing unnecessary demand on Adult Social Care by resolving enquiries early and directing people to preventative support. The provider will manage partnerships including the Directory of Services platform, maintain a Safe Trader scheme, support LD&A Partnership Boards in improving pathways, and work towards integrated systems that enable seamless handovers and information sharing. This is a core element of the Council's prevention and strengths-based approach to adult health and wellbeing.
