Community Microgrants for Food Security and Financial Resilience

The Community Microgrants Programme provides funding to local voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations and community groups. The programme addresses two critical community needs: (1) Community Food Aid - expanding access to affordable, dignified food options that help residents manage budgets, reduce social isolation, and connect with additional support services; and (2) Community Co-ordination - funding grassroots initiatives focused on financial resilience, crisis prevention, and building local support networks. This investment aims to reduce food insecurity and strengthen financial resilience at the community and neighbourhood level, while contributing to improved health outcomes and reduced health inequalities.
