Maintenance and repair services for homeless housing properties in Chichester

Chichester District Council is seeking a qualified supplier to provide ongoing maintenance and repair services for approximately 70 short-stay and homeless housing properties. The council is legally required under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 to maintain these properties and ensure all systems are safe and working. Services required include: roofing, carpentry and joinery, door and window replacement, plasterwork and finishes, painting and decorating, glazing, plumbing, bathroom renewals, central heating installation, electrical works, safety detectors, damp proofing, and gas heating servicing. This is a reactive maintenance contract covering both structural and internal repairs. The full scope of work is detailed in the National Housing Federation Service Specification. Interested suppliers are invited to attend a site visit on either Thursday 19th March 2026 (1:30pm-4:30pm) or Monday 23rd March 2026 (9:30am-1:00pm). Site visits are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis in one-hour slots, with a maximum of two representatives per organisation permitted.
