Todhills Landfill - Leachate Storage Tank Replacement

Todhills landfill site requires replacement of its aging leachate storage tank. Leachate collected from underground wells is currently stored in a steel tank installed in 2008, which is now deteriorating and requires replacement. The project scope includes: designing and constructing a new leachate storage tank with full civil works; installing a collection sump and pump to capture leachate seeping from the bankside near the existing tank; and decommissioning and removing the old tank from site. Critical requirement: continuous leachate pumping and off-site contractor tankering operations must be maintained throughout all works. Suppliers should be prepared to manage simultaneous tank operation and replacement activities to ensure no service interruption.
