    Brief

East Suffolk Council is seeking quotes to develop a strategic marketing and destination branding programme funded by a £12m Tourism Fund established through the Sizewell C power station planning agreement. The project aims to review and strengthen East Suffolk's destination positioning and brand identity, creating a unified and flexible brand framework that can be used consistently by all tourism partners. Key deliverables include: (1) a comprehensive destination positioning analysis and strategic insight review of current visitor-facing materials and messaging, (2) simplification of the customer journey to improve clarity, and (3) an implementation action plan with key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. This is a collaborative 'shared identity project' designed to ensure East Suffolk has a distinctive, cohesive brand identity that supports the local visitor economy and delivers long-term community benefits. The project is overseen by a Tourism Working Group and aligns with the 2025 Tourism Fund Implementation Plan agreed in March 2025.
