Knowledge Capture and Experience Library Pilot

This pilot project aims to capture and structure expert knowledge from experienced Ofwat staff members to create a reusable experience library for the organization. The work involves conducting up to 20 interviews with four senior staff members to gather insights on career experience, critical decisions, tacit knowledge, and key lessons learned. Suppliers will develop adaptive interview question sets, analyze interview findings, create structured experience cards, and build an Excel-based Experience Library that Ofwat staff can search and reference when facing similar challenges. The project will demonstrate how this captured knowledge can be accessed and applied through a Copilot tool, and will deliver a comprehensive pilot report with recommendations for broader implementation. Key deliverables include interview transcripts, a consolidated lessons list, structured experience cards, the Experience Library tool, an exploitation guide with demonstrations, and final recommendations for scaling the approach.
