    Brief

    Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust invites qualified organisations to tender for the complete replacement of an existing CT scanner within an operational acute hospital environment, including removal of the old equipment, installation and commissioning of new scanners, and all associated enabling works. The scope includes mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) alterations, new ventilation systems, electrical infrastructure upgrades (LV distribution, lighting, emergency systems, UPS), builder's works, structural modifications, fire stopping, architectural finishes, and installation of fire alarm, access control and communication systems. All work must be tested, commissioned, validated and certified, with training and documentation provided. All works must comply with Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs), Health Building Notes (HBNs), Building Regulations, the Building Safety Act 2022, Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, British Standards and Trust policies. Contractors must demonstrate their ability to maintain clinical services continuity, minimise disruption to adjacent departments, safely manage service interruptions, coordinate with the Trust and equipment manufacturer, and implement appropriate infection prevention and control measures within a live hospital setting.
