Playground and Sports Equipment Project Budget: £110,000 Target Age Group: 5-12 years Overview We are seeking a contractor to design and deliver a new playground with modern play equipment suitable for children aged 5-12. Proposals must prioritise inclusive and accessible play opportunities where practical. Key Responsibilities The successful contractor will: • Conduct a site assessment if needed • Design a concept layout for playground improvements • Supply and install all play equipment and features (wooden equipment excluded) • Install appropriate safety surfacing • Create accessible and inclusive play opportunities • Complete all foundations, groundworks, edging, and reinstatement works • Remove and dispose of existing equipment where applicable • Ensure compliance with current UK safety standards and relevant legislation • Provide certification, warranties, and maintenance documentation Requirements All proposals must be age-appropriate for 5-12 year-olds and consider inclusive design principles. Works must meet all applicable UK safety regulations and standards.
