Yorkshire Highway Alliance - Specialist Road and Footway Surface Treatment Framework

This is a regional framework contract for specialist surface treatment works on roads and footpaths across Yorkshire and Humber. The framework is open to the Council as the main Contracting Authority and other Contracting Authorities or their named Teckal Companies within the region. Scope of Works: Suppliers will provide labour, plant, materials, and traffic management for various specialist surface treatments including micro asphalt, slurry seal, retexturing, patching, infra-red treatments, crack sealing, cold milling, asphalt preservation, structural recycling, machine-laid grouted macadam, high friction surfacing, and road marking replacement. Contract Value and Duration: The framework is valued at approximately £9.35 million per annum (£18.7 million for the initial 2-year period, potentially £37.4 million over 4 years with extensions). Works will be offered through Direct Award or Competitive Selection Procedures. Key Dates: Contract starts 13 April 2026 and expires 12 April 2028, with options to extend for up to two additional 12-month periods until 12 April 2030.
