Grounds Maintenance Services for Biddulph Burial Grounds and Springfield Road

Biddulph Town Council seeks a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive grounds maintenance services across multiple sites. The contract includes maintenance of three burial ground locations: St Lawrence's Church closed burial ground, the Town Burial Ground adjacent to the church, and the new Woodhouse Burial Ground with its connecting wooded area (Bateman Walk). Maintenance responsibilities encompass grass cutting on a regular seasonal schedule, hedge and tree branch management, woodland area upkeep, general site maintenance including weed treatment and litter removal, proper handling of wreaths and floral tributes, and grave backfilling to ensure safe and even ground conditions with soil store management. Additionally, the contractor will maintain approximately 4,440 square meters of land on Springfield Road with regular grass cuts throughout the growing season.
