Brief

The planning policy team is seeking a consultant to undertake a comprehensive planning and design study including: (1) identification of sites and areas with potential for increased residential density; (2) capacity studies to establish minimum density standards based on net developable area; and (3) development of design codes to support a new local plan. The design codes should establish a robust framework for creating healthy, safe, green, environmentally responsive, and sustainable places with distinctive character and high-quality design standards. Qualified consultants should have experience in urban design, planning policy, capacity analysis, and design code development. The deliverables will inform future development patterns and planning decisions.
