Building Materials and Supplies - Multi-Lot Procurement

KWL is seeking to appoint suppliers for six separate lots of building materials and supplies used for general maintenance and repairs to properties in Hull. Suppliers may bid for one or multiple lots. Lot Details: - Lot 1: General Building Materials (£400,000 annual spend) - Counter service required in HU1-9 area - Lot 2: Timber (£400,000 annual spend) - Counter service required in HU1-9 area - Lot 3: Bathroom Materials (£650,000 annual spend) - No counter service required; 3-day delivery standard; must include 5-year shower warranty and measuring service for approximately 40 adaptive shower screens annually - Lot 4: UPVC Materials (£60,000 annual spend) - Counter service required in HU1-9 area - Lot 5: Tiles and Supplies (£140,000 annual spend) - No counter service required; 3-day delivery standard - Lot 6: Cleaning Materials (£117,000 annual spend) - Counter service required in HU1-9 area Key Requirements: Suppliers must provide detailed product information, MSDS sheets (where applicable), and free-of-charge samples for evaluation. Quality standards are strictly maintained with the right to reject poor-quality items. The contract runs for 2 years from 1 July 2026, with potential extensions for up to 3 additional years (1+1+1) based on value-for-money review. This is not an exclusive arrangement; KWL reserves the right to engage alternative suppliers if service, lead times, or quality standards are not met. Estimated annual combined spend is approximately £1.77 million.
