Cash Collection and In-Transit Services

Durham County Council is seeking a service provider to deliver comprehensive cash handling and collection services. The selected contractor will be responsible for: securely collecting cash and cheques from multiple council collection points; safely storing and transporting all collected funds; delivering collected amounts to designated receiving facilities, collection points, or banks as directed by the Council; providing secure overnight storage for cash and cheques when required; and offering change float services on both scheduled and on-demand basis to specified collection points. The contract may require service adjustments as Durham County Council's banking arrangements evolve during the contract period. Bidders should demonstrate capability in secure cash handling, compliance with security protocols, and reliable transportation logistics.
