    Brief

    The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC) is seeking a service provider to deliver a fully managed Cycle Hangar Rental and Maintenance Service supporting the borough's objectives in air quality improvement, climate action, traffic congestion reduction, and active travel promotion. The service covers installation (where required), rental administration, maintenance, inspection, and repair of all Council-owned cycle hangars. RBKC currently operates 96 cycle hangars with plans to expand to approximately 221 hangars by March 2028. The successful supplier will manage this growing network of secure on-street bicycle storage facilities across the borough. The contract has an initial term of three years with options to extend for up to three additional one-year periods (3+1+1+1), providing opportunity for long-term partnership. Suppliers should have experience in cycle storage infrastructure, maintenance operations, and customer administration services.
