Credit Provider Services for the Take it Away Music Loan Scheme

Creative United (trading as Creative Sector Services CIC) is seeking a credit provider to deliver consumer credit services for the Take it Away Scheme, a publicly funded initiative offering interest-free loans between £100 and £25,000 to help people access musical instruments, equipment, and music tuition. The contract runs from 1 November 2026 for 18 months, with options to extend for up to two additional 12-month periods (maximum 42 months total, subject to performance review). The scheme is available to UK residents aged 18+ through approved musical instrument retailers in England and Northern Ireland, with potential future expansion to Wales and Scotland pending funding agreement. Creative United prioritises supporting customers earning below £34,000 annually, those in low arts participation areas, first-time instrument buyers, and disabled customers.
