Mental Health Crisis Text Support Service - Cheshire and Merseyside

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside is procuring a comprehensive Mental Health Crisis Text Service to provide immediate, accessible support to individuals experiencing mental health crises across the region. The service will operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, delivering text-based support to all age groups. Key features include: seamless integration with NHS 111 Mental Health Option and local crisis response pathways; support for people facing barriers to traditional services including those with communication difficulties, disability, sensory needs, or geographical isolation; and alignment with NHS England guidance and national suicide prevention priorities. The service will serve both urban and rural communities across Cheshire and Merseyside. Contract term: 2 years with an optional 1-year extension.
