NHS Wales Patient Record Access Audit Monitoring System

Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) is seeking a National Intelligent Integrated Audit Solution (NIIAS) to monitor and analyze user access to the NHS Wales single patient record, clinical applications, and national data repositories across all 7 Health Boards and 5 statutory trusts in Wales. Key Requirements: - Process and visualize audit logs through an intuitive dashboard that enables Information Governance leads to monitor user behavior and access patterns in real-time - Integrate with NHS Wales systems via APIs to securely ingest audit logs and validate user identities against national staff and patient databases - Deliver real-time access to audit data with the ability to scale and accommodate legacy system connections and future requirements - Host and operate the solution on a cloud infrastructure integrated with the DHCW network environment The solution must support compliance and governance oversight across the entire Welsh NHS estate, enabling organizations to track and audit all access to sensitive patient information and clinical systems.
