    Brief

Blackpool Council is establishing a lotted framework agreement for highways surfacing and civil engineering works. This framework enables call-off contracts for work on the highway network and will consist of two lots: Lot 1 covers highways surfacing (resurfacing and reconstruction using flexible and rigid pavement treatments, road markings, signs, kerbs, and drainage); Lot 2 covers highways civil engineering works (earthworks, drainage installation, structures, kerbing, footways, carriageway construction, traffic management, environmental works, and utility coordination). The framework will appoint up to 4 suppliers per lot. Call-off contracts are expected to range from £100,000 to £5,000,000 for Lot 1 and £100,000 to £1,500,000 for Lot 2. Suppliers will be selected through a published selection procedure, with quotations obtained either through direct instruction or secondary competition. The framework is available to Blackpool Council, Lancashire County Council, Blackburn with Darwen Council, Lancashire Combined County Authority, and all current and future members and associate members of the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA), including Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, and Wigan Councils.
