Waste Recycling and Processing Services Contract for Bristol

Bristol City Council, through Bristol Waste Company, is seeking a contractor to receive, process, and recycle hardcore and soil waste collected from residents under its statutory waste management obligations. The contractor will handle household waste generated from DIY activities and must manage the complete recycling process, including material recovery and residue disposal. The waste will either be delivered by Bristol Waste Company to the contractor's treatment site or collected by the contractor for processing. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary environmental permits and licenses, managing the recycling operations, and disposing of any residual waste at their own cost through licensed facilities. The contract will run for an initial 24-month term with options to extend for up to an additional 24 months. All contract costs must include receipt, processing, recycling services, material marketing or reuse, and residue disposal.
