Project Manager for Eccles & Leigh Building Refurbishment

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of heavy refurbishment projects in Eccles and Leigh. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from design coordination through to construction completion. Key responsibilities include: - Managing the design process through RIBA Stages 3-4 and coordinating design teams - Leading procurement activities including tender preparation, evaluation, and contractor selection - Monitoring construction works to ensure compliance with programmes, specifications, and quality standards - Preparing and managing project budgets with regular financial reporting and forecasting - Developing detailed project plans and identifying risks and delays - Chairing design team meetings, risk workshops, and progress reviews - Maintaining risk registers and ensuring compliance with statutory and organisational requirements - Acting as the main point of contact between Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS), design teams, contractors, and stakeholders This is a direct award opportunity under the RISE framework for Project Management services, with a fee value band of £0-£200,000.
