    Brief

Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership seeks a locally-based service provider to deliver comprehensive Self-Directed Support (SDS) advice and information services to the public. The service will help individuals understand and navigate The Social Care (Self Directed Support) (Scotland) Act 2013 and its four funding options. Core responsibilities include: providing personalized support and advice to help service users access resources that meet their outcomes; delivering information and guidance to eligible referrals on understanding their four SDS options; participating in support planning when requested; assisting individuals who employ their own care staff to do so legally and compliantly, including access to legal and payroll support; managing Individual Service Fund (ISF) accounts for those choosing Option 2, including prepaid card administration; and developing and facilitating a service user forum to gather feedback and improve service delivery. The successful provider will play a key role in empowering individuals to take greater control of their social care and support arrangements.
