Bus Shelter Design, Supply and Installation Services - Thanet District

Thanet District Council is seeking a qualified specialist supplier to design, manufacture, and install approximately 90 new modular bus shelters across the Thanet area. The successful bidder will be responsible for: conducting site surveys; designing DDA-compliant bus shelters; manufacturing units; obtaining all necessary highway permits and permissions; installing shelters; making electrical connections where required; reinstating footways; and commissioning the completed installations. The contract is anticipated to start in January 2027 for a 20-week duration. Bidders must submit formal tenders via the Kent Business Portal with evaluation based on criteria outlined in the Invitation to Tender documents. Clarification questions must be submitted by 14:00 on 14 October 2026, and completed tender documents must be submitted electronically by 14:00 on 28 October 2026.
