The service comprises scheduled and ad-hoc taxi and private hire vehicle services for Dial-a-Ride and taxicard members, filling gaps in minibus availability. Key Requirements: - Provider must be a licensed taxi operator (not an IT provider) capable of delivering all services across the entire Greater London area without subcontracting - Three vehicle types must be available for every journey, with customers choosing based on their needs: accessible taxis (black cabs or equivalent with wheelchair access), private hire vehicles (standard, no wheelchair access), and low-floor vehicles (no wheelchair access) - Service volumes are seasonal, peaking during Christmas and Easter school holidays - Estimated demand: approximately 300 multi-trip taxi journeys per month (0-30 per day, average 10) and 250 single-trip taxi journeys per month (1-9 per day, average 4), with slowly increasing trends - All vehicles, staff, and operations must be directly managed by the provider with no outsourcing to third parties
