National Parking Platform Service Contract

Birmingham City Council has awarded a contract to National Parking Platform Limited for the provision, operation and support of the National Parking Platform. This platform aggregates parking service providers and enables motorists to pay for parking using their preferred payment application across Birmingham City Council operated locations. The contract includes integration services that create interoperability between the Council's parking estate and participating parking payment providers, allowing consumers to use a wide range of payment options through a common interface. The contract was awarded by direct award under the Procurement Act 2023 as National Parking Platform Limited is the sole organisation holding the necessary intellectual property rights, assets and operational control of the platform.
