Move-On Housing Support Service

South Kesteven District Council is seeking a qualified provider to deliver a proactive Move-On Service that helps families at risk of eviction secure alternative accommodation and maintain their current tenancies where possible. The service will assist families in finding suitable housing options including private rental properties, social housing, or supported accommodation, with all offers subject to suitability assessment. Key responsibilities include: assessing families' current tenancy situations and housing affordability; using local knowledge and contacts to identify alternative accommodation; providing tenancy mediation to sustain existing tenancies; supporting families through the moving process; and maintaining families' active engagement in their housing search to prevent homelessness. The Council will refer eligible families to the service with their consent. Suppliers must demonstrate strong local service provision knowledge and a hands-on approach to reduce homelessness and ease pressure on local authorities and support services.
