The University seeks to renew its software license and support agreement for the Unit4 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution, which is critical to managing institutional and subsidiary finances. This direct award procurement is justified under the Procurement Act 2023 because Unit4 holds exclusive intellectual property rights to the solution and changing suppliers would create technical incompatibilities and operational difficulties.
