Creative Consultant for Mid and West Wales Regional Culture Strategy

Mid and West Wales (covering Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, and Powys) has secured funding from Welsh Government's Priorities for Culture programme to develop a comprehensive regional cultural strategy and local implementation plans. The successful consultant will be responsible for creating a shared Regional Cultural Vision that aligns with Welsh Government's national Priorities for Culture, along with four tailored Cultural Priority Plans for each local authority. The work will establish a clear connection between national cultural ambitions and local delivery, strengthen collaboration across the region's museums, libraries, and archives services, and create an evidence-based framework to support future investment and sustainable service models. The consultant should be creative and experienced in cultural strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and regional collaboration. The project must balance regional coordination with local autonomy, ensuring each area's unique context is reflected while reinforcing a unified regional approach aligned to the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015.
