    Brief

    The Council is seeking suppliers to provide high-quality, safe, and cost-effective furniture, fixtures, and fittings for its Early Years Education Settings and Temporary Residential Accommodation across the borough. This includes five separate lots: (1) Window Protection and Covering, (2) Outdoor Equipment Protection and Covering, (3) Indoor Equipment Protection and Heuristic Play items, (4) Indoor Staff and Reception Room Furniture, and (5) Residential Accommodation Furniture including living and dining items. The supply contract is a statutory requirement to support vulnerable residents of all ages in accordance with the Children Act 1989 & 2004, Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000, Childcare Act 2006, Housing Act 1996, and Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. The contract term is 4 years with an optional 1-year extension. Suppliers must be able to deliver to multiple locations throughout the borough and meet quality, safety, and value-for-money standards.
