Hazlemere Recreation Ground Playground Refurbishment Tender

Hazlemere Parish Council is seeking a contractor to deliver a complete refurbishment of Hazlemere Recreation Ground playground. The project includes: safe removal of existing equipment and nature trail; installation of new BS EN 1176/1177 compliant safety surfacing; supply and installation of new play equipment for ages 2-12 years with high play value across climbing, balancing, swinging, sliding, and sensory features; redesign of the nature trail using natural materials to encourage biodiversity exploration; and optional replacement of the zip wire for older children. The design must prioritize inclusivity for children with physical, neurodivergent, and sensory disabilities, seamlessly integrate all zones, and deliver exceptional value for money. The core budget is £80,000 (all-inclusive), with flexibility for bidders to propose additional investment with clearly costed add-ons showing community return on investment.
