Arts Building HVAC System Installation

This opportunity is for the complete design, installation, and commissioning of a new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system in the Arts Building. The project encompasses all associated design work, regulatory compliance, and construction activities needed to deliver a fully functional system. Background: The Arts teaching spaces currently experience poor environmental conditions, including excessive temperatures and inadequate cooling. These issues result from the building's central core location, heat generated by audiovisual equipment, and the absence of mechanical systems for fresh air circulation. Urgency and Timing: This work must be completed during the summer break when teaching spaces are largely unoccupied, as the installation involves extensive mechanical, electrical, and structural work that would significantly disrupt teaching activities and compromise health and safety during term time. The compressed timeline is a critical project constraint. Scope: Suppliers should be prepared to manage rapid project delivery including system design, equipment procurement, installation of mechanical and electrical components, builder's works, and full system commissioning.
