    Brief

This opportunity seeks an individual, team, or organization with relevant professional qualifications and demonstrated experience to conduct a comprehensive review of children's mental health services across North Wales. The review addresses critical gaps identified in support for children and young people experiencing mental health crises, following increased referral volumes and complexity since the COVID-19 pandemic. The work will support implementation of Wales's Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2025-2035 and Suicide Prevention and Self-Harm Strategy. The review will cover services across six Local Authorities and Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, examining current provision, identifying service improvements, and developing recommendations to strengthen mental health crisis support for vulnerable children and young people. Qualified candidates should have professional credentials in child mental health, social services, or related fields, along with experience in service evaluation and improvement planning.
