Healthcare and Community Transport Services Framework

HTE is establishing a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to procure transportation and courier services across three specialized lots: (1) Medical Couriers - providing specialist pathology transport for infectious substances, diagnostic specimens, and biological materials, plus pharmacy transport for pharmaceutical and controlled drugs with GDP compliance; (2) Non-Clinical Courier Services - offering same-day or next-day delivery of general items such as medical files, notes, and supplies between healthcare and social care facilities; (3) Bus & Community Transport - providing passenger transport services with vehicles licensed for nine or more seated passengers under PSV or Section 19/22 permits. Services will support NHS Trusts, hospitals, community facilities, and other public sector organizations across the UK, with potential international movement of certain items. Suppliers can tender for one or multiple lots based on their capability and experience.
