Energy Supply Contract - Electricity and Gas for Quantock Education Trust

Quantock Education Trust is establishing a Dynamic Market for the supply of electricity and gas to all Authority sites. This is an open procurement mechanism under section 34 of the Procurement Act 2023 that allows multiple suppliers to compete for contracts. Key features include: continuous opening for new supplier applications throughout the contract period; flexible admission of suppliers at any time; and competitive selection processes conducted among all admitted suppliers. The contract includes physical supply of electricity and gas as well as associated invoicing and query management services. Interested suppliers can apply for admission to the Dynamic Market at any point during its duration, enabling ongoing competition and potentially better value for the Authority.
