    Brief

Birmingham City Council is seeking an organisation to develop and implement a Clean Air Action Plan at two Birmingham hospitals: the Women's Hospital and Children's Hospital. The successful organisation will: • Guide both hospital trusts through the Clean Air Hospital Framework (provided free of charge) to establish baseline assessments and track progress • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and present findings through existing forums or dedicated strategy masterclasses • Conduct performance assessments, identify barriers to clean air implementation, and develop comprehensive action plans • Establish governance structures to ensure sustained implementation of clean air initiatives • Identify and mobilise approximately three health professionals as Clean Air Ambassadors to champion initiatives during key communications campaigns and awareness events • Support initial implementation of priority actions from the action plans The contract runs for 18 months, commencing 1st September 2026. This is an ideal opportunity for organisations with expertise in healthcare sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and air quality improvement.
