Asbestos Survey and Analysis Services Contract - Wrexham County Borough Council

Wrexham County Borough Council is seeking a single contractor to provide comprehensive asbestos survey and analytical services across all council-owned and managed properties throughout the county borough. This is a 4-year contract with an option to extend for 2 additional years based on satisfactory performance. Scope of Work Includes: • Domestic property surveys and reinspections (subject to regulatory changes) • Reinspections of regulated buildings (schools, commercial units, community centres, public buildings) under CAR2012 Reg 4 • Demolition and refurbishment surveys • Bulk sample collection and laboratory analysis • Reassurance air testing • Analytical work and site supervision during asbestos removal projects • Water absorption testing • Management plan and report preparation • Consultancy advice • Asbestos awareness training Key Requirements: • Work covers all Wrexham County Borough properties, including private properties managed by the council • Service must be flexible and scalable to accommodate fluctuating demand • Work volumes may decrease over the contract term as asbestos-containing buildings reduce • No subcontracting permitted; contractor must deliver all work directly • Successful contractors cannot bid for the separate Asbestos Removal Services contract (ending 31 March 2027) or any related organisations sharing the same parent company • Full compliance with The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 required Tender documents are available free on etenderWales (Project 64173, ITT 127236).
