Occupational Health Physician Consultant Service

Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) is seeking a qualified and experienced occupational health physician to provide specialist consultant services to support its occupational health team. The role involves approximately one eight-hour day per week (averaging four days per month) and includes a range of occupational health activities such as fitness for work assessments, fitness to practise evaluations, sickness absence management, health surveillance, ionising radiation medicals, ill health retirement documentation, complex case advice, prescribing support, and other specialist occupational medicine services as required. The initial contract period is twelve months with the option to extend for an additional twelve months. Suitable candidates should have relevant qualifications and demonstrable experience in occupational medicine and be available to work flexibly as required by the Health Board.
