    Brief

Co-Op Academies Trust is seeking a fully managed lettings service provider for Co-Op Academy Stoke-on-Trent, a secondary school with 1,300 pupils and 120 staff. The contract runs for three years (1 September 2026 to 31 August 2029) with an optional two-year extension to 31 August 2031. The successful contractor will manage school facility lettings to generate income, enhance community engagement, and strengthen the school's reputation. The current annual lettings revenue is £62,000. The procurement follows a two-stage Competitive Flexible Procedure: Stage 1 (PSQ) will shortlist 5-10 candidates achieving minimum 60% score; Stage 2 (ITT) will evaluate responses on 50% price and 50% quality basis. Minimum requirements include £5 million employers' and public liability insurance and £300,000 annual company turnover. The school values partnership approaches and welcomes creative proposals to develop and maximize lettings activities. The school is not obliged to accept the lowest bid but seeks best value. Competitive, flexible ideas to increase revenue, maintain facilities, and enhance school reputation are particularly welcomed.
