Architect-Led Design Services for Argyle Primary School and Thomas Coram Nursery Co-location Project

The London Borough of Camden seeks an architect-led multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive professional consultancy services for reconfiguring Argyle Primary School to accommodate the co-location of Thomas Coram Maintained Nursery School. The project involves redesigning the existing school building and site to integrate nursery provision for children aged 2-4 alongside primary school operations. A feasibility study has already been completed outlining spatial and operational requirements. The successful consultant team will manage the full project lifecycle from RIBA Stage 2 (Concept Design) through Stage 7 (In-Use), encompassing design development, building regulations and planning approvals, contractor procurement, construction supervision, and final handover. The role requires extensive stakeholder engagement with school staff, parents, governors, and the local community throughout all project phases. This is an opportunity to create an innovative integrated education campus that delivers tangible benefits for young children, families, and the wider community. The contract runs from November 2026 to September 2028, with an anticipated contract value available from the client.
