Equality Advisory and Support Service Provider

The Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) is a frontline helpline and support service operating across England, Scotland, and Wales. It provides free, confidential information, advice, and practical support to individuals who believe they have experienced discrimination or human rights violations. The service handles approximately 50,000 to 60,000 contacts annually from members of the public and receives referrals from over 150 partner organizations each quarter. The EASS is designed to facilitate early informal resolution of equality and human rights concerns, helping people resolve issues without escalating to tribunal proceedings. Successful suppliers will need to demonstrate capacity to manage high contact volumes, provide specialist equality and human rights expertise, deliver quality support across multiple communication channels, and maintain effective partnerships with external referral organizations.
