Project Director and Project Manager for Venue Cymru Redevelopment - RIBA Stages 3-6

Conwy County Borough Council is seeking a Project Director, Project Manager, and NEC4 Supervisor with expertise in cultural building design and delivery. You will lead the design and delivery of a major capital redevelopment project at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, Wales, through RIBA Stages 3 to 6 (detailed design through to construction completion). The project builds on completed RIBA Stages 1 & 2 and follows appointment of AOC Architecture as the Lead Consultant/Multidisciplinary Design Team. The project is organised into two independent workstreams with different programmes and funding deadlines. The auditorium and ventilation systems are scheduled for construction in 2027, while the Culture Hub follows on a separate timeline. A unified project team will coordinate across both workstreams to ensure integrated design and construction delivery. You will work collaboratively with the design team, cost consultant, and client to deliver these complex cultural facilities on schedule and within budget.
