    Brief

Devon County Council and Torbay Council are seeking a Private Sector Partner (or Partners) to design, install, and operate approximately 2,000 electric vehicle chargepoints across Devon and Torbay. This concession contract is supported by LEVI Capital Funding and involves multiple delivery partners including seven Devon District authorities and Parish Councils. The project includes chargepoints in council-owned car parks and on-street locations. The procurement is divided into four lots based on chargepoint type: Lot 1 - Rapid DC chargepoints (50kW+), Lot 2 - Fast AC chargepoints (22kW), Lot 3 - Standard AC bollard chargepoints (<8kW), and Lot 4 - On-street lamp column chargepoints. The selected contractor(s) will need to secure leases at council car parks and coordinate with all delivery partners. Torbay Council reserves the right to extend the contract to include additional lots at a later date by mutual agreement.
