    Brief

Westminster City Council is awarding a direct contract to Learning Disability Network London for the provision of short breaks and emergency support services for adults with learning disabilities. The contract runs for up to 60 months (3 years with an optional 2-year extension) from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2031, with a value of £4,978,600 excluding VAT (£5,974,320 including VAT). This contract provides service continuity while the Council develops and implements building plans to redesign the Kingsbridge Road site. Once building works are completed, a full competitive tender process will follow. The supplier's previous contract expired on 31 March 2026, and they have continued delivering services since that date. The contract will be formally awarded with retrospective effect from 1 April 2026 to regularise this arrangement, with signing expected around 14 September 2026 (indicative date, subject to change).
