West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) is seeking a professional manned guarding service provider to deliver security services across its estate, including council-owned premises and high-profile public-facing locations. The service must ensure the safety and security of council employees, contractors, service users, visitors, vulnerable individuals, children, and members of the public. Services will be provided across multiple sites with flexible shift patterns up to 12 hours, covering up to 24/7 operations. Required qualifications include: all security personnel must hold current Security Industry Authority (SIA) licences and relevant accreditations; robust recruitment, screening, and vetting procedures including enhanced DBS checks; ongoing training and professional development for all assigned personnel; a pool of trained relief staff to cover planned and unplanned absences; and guaranteed service continuity and maintenance of security standards at all times.
