    Brief

Powys County Council invites experienced training providers to deliver social care training courses for adults and children's services teams. This is a framework agreement funded through the Social Care Wales Workforce Development Programme (SCWWDP) grant. The framework runs for up to 5 years from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2033, with annual renewal options (1+1+1 structure). Funding is awarded annually based on grant allocations from Welsh Government and the Council. Training needs are assessed annually in January, and providers receive at least 3 months' notice before course commissioning. An annual delivery schedule will be developed according to identified workforce development priorities and training demand. Suppliers must demonstrate suitable experience and competence in delivering social care training to be considered for the framework.
