Ireland Construction Grant: Croí Cónaithe Cities Scheme - Expression of Interest Call 5

The Croí Cónaithe (Cities) Scheme provides funding to support the construction of apartments for owner-occupiers in Irish cities. The Scheme is designed to bridge the "Viability Gap" - the difference between the cost of building apartments and their market sale price. Funding is available only for apartment developments where construction costs exceed potential market sale prices, making the project financially unviable without support. Without this funding bridge, qualifying apartment projects would not be built or would not be available for purchase by owner-occupiers. The Housing Agency, on behalf of the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, is now accepting expressions of interest through an e-tender process to identify and evaluate suitable apartment development proposals. Developers and construction companies interested in participating should submit their expressions of interest via the e-tender portal.
