    Brief

This feasibility study will evaluate Killala Harbour's current facilities, infrastructure, and development potential to create a Strategic Development Framework for sustainable regeneration. The project scope includes: topographical surveying and site assessment; infrastructure improvement options for harbour operations; water sports facility concept proposals; feasibility analysis for a floating walkway connecting the harbour to Ross Beach; and tourism and community amenity enhancement opportunities. All recommendations will comply with environmental protection requirements for the adjacent Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and Special Protection Area (SPA). The completed framework will guide phased investment and long-term positioning of Killala as a premier coastal tourism and recreational destination in North Mayo. Suppliers should be prepared to deliver surveying, marine engineering assessment, coastal planning expertise, and feasibility analysis capabilities.
