Occupational Therapy Trusted Assessor Training Delivery

Leicester City Council is seeking a training provider to develop and deliver face-to-face Trusted Assessor training for approximately 150-155 Adult Social Care and Safeguarding Division staff over a six-month period. The training will equip non-specialist staff to identify when equipment or home adaptations can help residents live safely and independently, with a focus on understanding home environments, adaptation options, and equipment procurement processes. The provider must deliver 11 full training days at local council venues, develop culturally appropriate training resources, and ensure trainers are qualified and understand local needs and Leicester's diverse communities. The contract is for six months with no extension options. A voluntary standstill period of 8 working days commenced following procurement assessment completion, expiring on 4 August 2026.
